Night Elf Lore part 1 [until Vanilla WoW].

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to the blog. As you can tell by the title we will be discussing more WoW Lore and like i said before this time it will be about the Night Elves. I was originally planning to include some of the leveling Ignos had been doing so far in Arathi Highlands but i have quite a bit i want to talk about and i don't want it to be very long so i'll post that tomorrow. And i'm sorry about not posting about Yobrok for a while I've just been so focused on Ignos that i haven't gotten around to leveling him but i will continue doing that from now on and he did something cool today so look forward to that hopefully tomorrow. Now let's begin The Night Elves were originally a tribe of Nomadic and Nocturnal Dark Trolls. Unlike other Trolls at that time they didn't care about land or power and instead wanted peace. In 15,000 BP [before dark portal] they settled near the Well of Eternity somewhere in Azshara on the continent of Kalimdor [although at t...

Vanilla WoW Loch Modan Geography.

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to the blog. You may not know Ignos leveled from 17-20 in Loch Modan since he finished his quests in Westfall and ended up finishing all the quests here too. Loch Modan is a Alliance zone in the northeastern Eastern Kingdoms in the region of Khaz Modan It borders the Wetlands to the north, Dun Morogh to the west, Badlands to the south and it has a very small border with Searing Gorge in the southwest. It's wild life is mainly Bears and Poisonous Spiders. There are multiple ways to enter it from Dun Morogh assuming you came from the Southern Gate Pass in southwestern Loch Modan you'll be in the Valley of Kings. A little bit south from there is the gate to Searing Gorge which is sealed and you must prove yourself to enter. If you go northeast you'll see Stonesplinter Valley another valley full of caves and Troggs of the Stonesplinter tribe led by Grawmug. Heading more east will take you to Grizzlepaw Ridge a mountainous area infested with ...

Vanilla WoW Ashenvale Geography.

Image
Welcome to the blog. Today we will be doing Ashenvale Geography. Ashenvale is a contested territory zone in north Kalimdor. It's bordered by Stonetalon Mountains to the southwest, The Barrens to the south east, Azshara to the east, Felwood to the north and Darkshore to the northwest. It's a very important region to the Night Elves since a lot of their history is from here. The zone is filled with Bears, Wolves, Poisonous spiders and Slimes. There are also ancient ruins everywhere in the zone. In the northwest near the border with Darkshore is Bathran's Haunt abandoned Night Elf ruins. Recently Undead Forsaken Herbalists have come here to collect herbs for unknown reasons and have somehow caused the grass and plants to die. A little bit south of Bathran's Haunt is The Ruins of Ordil'Aran more ancient ruins which has now been taken over by the Cult of the Dark Strand one of the Shadow Council's Cults allied with the Satyr's. From those ruins heading...

Ragefire Chasm Vanilla WoW guide.

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to the blog. Yesterday Yobrok did his first dungeon and had a fun experience in Ragefire Chasm [sorry i couldn't put it out yesterday i did most of it but had to leave and couldn't finish it]. This will be a guide for Vanilla Ragefire Chasm [i play on Kronos 3]. Let's begin. First of all i must explain the lore. Ragefire Chasm is a series of cavers under the Horde/Orc capital Orgrimmar. It was first discovered by Gazlowe ruler of the Neutral Goblin port city Ratchet located in The Barrens. Soon after the Ragefire Trogg clan appeared there mysteriously. The Shadow Council is an organization that is pawns of the Burning Legion [the Burning Legion is a story for another time] run by Warlocks who have control over many cults working secretly to overthrow Thrall Warchief of the Horde. Thrall learns about this but knows it's too early for him to take direct action so he sends you to stop the Searing blade one of the cults now under the Horde/Orc ...

Thrall Lore Part 5 [until Vanilla WoW and last part].

Image
Hello everyone and welcome to the Blog. Today we'll finish Thrall's lore. Last we left off the Burning Legion was defeated. The Orcs claimed much of The Barrens pushing the Razormane Quillboars and Kolkar Centaurs out of much of it. Eventually they discovered another region close to The Barrens, this region had a harsh climate and reminded them of their homeworld Draenor and they decided to make their capital there. The land was called Durotar after Thrall's father Durotan and their capital was named Orgrimmar after Orgrim Doomhammer. The Tauren controlled the southern Barrens and Mulgore. Cairne realizing the nomadic ways of the Tauren was dangerous due to exposing them to attack by Centaurs and other races, changed the tradition and built a permanent capital for them in Mulgore named Thunder Bluff. Vol'jin and the Darkspear Troll's settled in the Echo Isles. Rexxar a Mok'Nathal [half orc and half ogre] came to Thrall and joined the Horde, he earned his p...

Thrall Lore part 4 [until Vanilla WoW].

Image
Hello and welcome to the blog. Today we will be discussing more Lore about Thrall and the founding of the New Horde. Last we left off Grom Hellscream and Jaina Proudmoore were fighting. Apparently the demonic bloodlust that consumed the Orcish people took over Grom even when he tried to resist it. It ended up causing him to attack Stonetalon Peak after he was impatient that Thrall was taking too long to get a Zeppelin from the Goblins. Thrall had to stop the Humans and get his forces away. Thrall confronted Grom who said a true warrior would fight without question instead of sneaking around. As a punishment Thrall sent Grom with the Warsong clan to Ashenvale to obtain lumber for their future settlements. Thrall along with everyone else took the zeppelin up the mountain and was surprised to have found Cairne who came to find him to repay the debt he had to the Horde. Cairne suggested they get the Wyvern's help. They attacked the Harpies who imprisoned some Wyvern's freeing th...

Vanilla WoW Westfall geography.

Image
Hello welcome to the blog. Today we're gonna do a geography of Westfall. Yesterday we did one of Elywn Forest  check it out here . Come back later today for more lore about Thrall. I also made a post about it yesterday  check it out here . Westfall is a Alliance Zone in the southwestern Eastern Kingdoms. It's bordered by Elywn Forest to the northeast, Duskwood to the east and a very small bordered with Stranglethorn Vale in the southeast. It used to be called the breadbasket of Stormwind since it's many farms were a big agricultural center for Stormwind. Before i talk about the geography i need to talk about the history of the Defias who are a big part of understanding Westfall. After the Second War the Humans of Stormwind got their homes back. But there was a problem Stormwind their capital was destroyed by the Orcs. The Stonemasons guild a guild know for their architectural abilities were hired to build a new Stormwind named Stormwind City. They managed to do this...

World Cup predictions, Yobrok updates and Thrall lore part 3 [until Vanilla WoW].

Image
First of all here is my predictions for the World Cup. England will beat Belgium and become 3rd place. Croatia will beat France and go home with the cup. I don't care about England and Belgium tbh but i want Croatia to win, i'm not Croatian i just want a new team to win and i think they deserve it they've been working very hard. Here's an update on Yobrok. He has a new lioness pet named Moona. She has been a great help and he will probably use her until he finishes The Barrens. He is also level 12 too. He also rode his first Wyvern from The Crossroads to Orgrimmar. Today i wanted to continue talking about the lore of Thrall. Last we left off he was heading to Kalimdor so let's continue and see what will happen next. Halfway to Kalimdor in the middle of the Great Sea there was a fierce storm at the Maelstrom [large water vortex that has to do with the Night Elf's past will explain more about it in the future] it forced them to take ...

Vanilla WoW Elywn Forest geography.

Image
Hello everybody i hope you're having a great evening. Today i decided to do a geography of Elywn Forest since i made this blog after i finished that zone. I will also do Westfall tomorrow because i made  this blog before i did that zone too. Before we start i just wanted to say that Ignos is now a Sergeant!!! He now has 40 HK [honorable kills]. Let's begin. Elywn Forest is a Alliance zone in the southwestern Eastern Kingdoms. Bordered by Burning Steppes to the northeast, Redridge Mountains to the west, Deadwind Pass to the southeast, Duskwood to the south and Westfall to the southwest. It's the heart of the Human Kingdom of Stormwind as it was the first place they settled after migrating from Lordaeron. The entire zone is made up of a giant forest. In the northwest is Northshire Valley where all new Human characters start at. Recruits go there to help the Alliance. Northshire Abbey a huge religious building [fake lore religion] and a place of importance for many Hum...

Yobrok at Thunder Bluff and Thrall lore part 2 [until Vanilla WoW].

Image
Yobrok went to Thunder Bluff. Now the Undercity is the last Horde capital he still hasn't gone to. Ignos actually went to all the Alliance capitals but none of the Horde one's cause if he did... well i think you know what would happen lol. The main reason i'm writing or typing this lol [i'm dumb]. The main reason i'm typing this i meant to say is because i want to continue giving lore about Thrall. If you haven't seen the first post then  click here . Please note i won't be able to cover every detail because of the vast amount of lore in WoW but i will cover the main lore. Thrall became Doomhammer's second in command. They worked together to free their people from the prisons and make a new Shamanistic Horde. Although they were able to free many camps 1 particular one they attacked was heavily guarded. Although they freed it Orgrim Doomhammer died in the processes. While dying he gave Thrall his armor and warhammer and named him War Chief ...

Vanilla WoW Durotar geography. Bye Durotar and hello Barrens.

Image
Yobrok is now level 10. He left Durtoar and went to The Barrens. He's currently at  The Crossroads now. He completed his class quest too so he can tame pets now. He actually tamed a Cursed Scorpid the second best pet in Durotar or atleast what i found out and my personal opinion in my research. I tried to find the Death Flayer another Scorpid which i think is the best pet in Durtoar but it's rare so i couldn't find it. Yobrok was broke and while making his way to the Crossroads it was hard for him to fight the mobs since he was low level due to just starting The Barrens. Soon it's happiness was very low and he didn't have any more meat to feed it. He had to make the tough choice to abandon it at the end even if he didn't it would run away soon anyways. I'm probably going to have to grind some boar since they drop the chunks of meat you're characters can't eat but the pets can. I'll wait a few levels though even if it puts me at a disadvan...

Vanilla WoW Redridge Mountains geography. Bye Redridge Mountains and the occasion where i get ganked in Lakeshire lol.

Image
Today Ignos became level 25. It was time to say bye to Redridge Mountains and head to Ashenvale. In Astranaar i set the inn there as my home and will be questing there. I thought it was a good idea to give some information about Redridge Mountains like what mobs are in certain areas and what problems they are facing. It's kind of like Geography Now. If you don't know what that is  click right here . Redridge is a contested zone although it doesn't really feel like one. It's in the southeast of the Eastern Kingdoms. Bordered by the Burning Steppes to the north, Elywn Forest to the west, Deadwind Pass to the south, Duskwood to the southwest and the Swamp of Sorrows to the southeast. In southwest Redridge is the Three Corners. The entrances from Elywn Forest and Duskwood are here if you're Alliance you'll probably enter from here if you go to it on land. It's littered with wild birds Black Dragon Whelps and Gnoll camps. Guard Parker is the only ...

Thrall lore part 1 [until Vanilla WoW]. Yobrok meet's Thrall.

Image
Today Yobrok met Thrall Warchief of the Horde. But who is this Thrall person? What is this New Horde of his? Read more to find out. Thrall was born in the Alterac Mountains his father was the Chieftain of the Frost Wolf Clan Durotan. While on a trip to a secret meeting with Orgrim Doomhammer Durotan's childhood best friend his and his wife's bodies were found in North Loch Modan. Thrall was still alive though he was a baby at this time what happened was that the Shadow Council evil Orcs with demonic powers who used to control the Old Horde assassinated Thrall's parents and left him to die. Thrall was found by Humans and was put in a interment camp system where captured Orcs were imprisoned after the Second War. He was trained as a gladiator in Durnholde Keep in North Eastern Hillsbrads Foothills. There he was raised by a Human Woman and became friends with her daughter a girl named Taretha Foxton. She later helped him escape he left hoping to never come back. In his ...

Vanilla WoW Tower of Illigar. I hate Morganth.

Image
Today was very INTENSE!!!! To say the least. Ignos did the Tower of Illigar. This won't be a guide for it but i'll explain what happened. First of all lore i love lore XD. Reading my past posts i say XD a lot XD ok i'll stop now back to the lore XD ok i really mean it now. A rouge Human Warlock Morganth turned against Stormwind. In North Eastern Redridge Mountains he built the Tower of Illigar where he conducted his work. Allying with the Blackrock Orcs of the Dark Horde he drove the humans of Stormwind out of their fortress Stonewatch Keep it now belonged to the Blackrock Orcs. But for some reason Morganth betrayed them and allied with the Shadowhide pack of Gnoll's who basically became their minions yeah Gnoll's are pretty dumb. If you kill one of them it may drop a Glowing Pendant thing that starts the quest chain. Eventually at the end you find out Morganth is looking for the Scythe of Elune. [will talk more about that in a later blog] So you have to kill him to...
