Vanilla WoW Westfall geography.

Hello welcome to the blog. Today we're gonna do a geography of Westfall. Yesterday we did one of Elywn Forest check it out here. Come back later today for more lore about Thrall. I also made a post about it yesterday check it out here.

Westfall is a Alliance Zone in the southwestern Eastern Kingdoms. It's bordered by Elywn Forest to the northeast, Duskwood to the east and a very small bordered with Stranglethorn Vale in the southeast. It used to be called the breadbasket of Stormwind since it's many farms were a big agricultural center for Stormwind. Before i talk about the geography i need to talk about the history of the Defias who are a big part of understanding Westfall. After the Second War the Humans of Stormwind got their homes back. But there was a problem Stormwind their capital was destroyed by the Orcs. The Stonemasons guild a guild know for their architectural abilities were hired to build a new Stormwind named Stormwind City. They managed to do this and built a magnificent city which is the present day Stormwind in game. The nobles expanded the military so much that they didn't have much money to pay the Stonemasons so they chose not to. In compensation they were offered big jobs in Stormwind City. Some accepted the offer but Edwin Vancleef their master didn't and his loyal followers didn't either. He started a riot in Stormwind City which resulted in the Queen's death after a large rock was thrown at her head. He left the City with his followers and founded the Defias Brotherhood they managed to take over most of Westfall and Stormwind just let them without doing much to stop them. They used mechanical Golems made by Goblins to attack the farm and take them over they couldn't send much food to Stormwind and the land turned yellow with nobody to take care of it. Many farmers chose to flee Westfall leaving many farms abandoned.

In the northeast is the Jansen Stead an abandoned farm over run by Golem's. Also please note that Westfall has a lot of hungry Vultures attacking people, Undead who crossed over from Duskwood and Riverpaw Gnoll's. The Jansen Stead is also where the Furlbrow's are after their wagon broke on their way to Stormwind. Going a bit south from there you'll see the Saldean's Farm they are good friends of the Furlbrow's and only farmers left in Westfall who chose not to leave. Going more south from there you'll reach Sentinel Hill. It's a camp setup by Gyran Stoutmantle leader of the People's Militia. It's made up of people who decided to work together to stop the Defias and take back Westfall after Stormwind pulled out all it's soldiers from Westfall. They are currently at war with the Defias but are outnumbered and don't control nearly as much land as the Defias do. They are struggling but are trying their hardest to get their land back.

Heading south from there you'll see 2 ways you can go. East which will take you to the Dead Acre an abandoned farm now overrun by Undead. If you go more east after that Then you will end up crossing the bridge across the river to Duskwood. If you go South from the Dead Acre you will see The Dust Plains. There is a tower there that has been taken over by the Defias. The person managing the tower uses material he got from the Venture Co. to turn people into Undead and control them.

If you went West instead of East then you will reach a small city named Moonbrook. It was the former capital of Westfall but is now the Defias capital. They manage all their stuff here and control the entire city. Under one of the buildings is a mine known as the Deadmines a dungeon you will need a group to do.

The Defias there are working to build a large ship to sail to Stormwind and attack it. When you go under the building there is a bunch of Humans mining with Defias officers watching them. Once you go through the instance portal you'll see more of them but eventually you'll see a Boss named Rhahk'Zor an Ogre that's the foreman of the construction project. Once you kill him and proceed ahead you will have to kill more mobs until you make it into the Mast Room you will see a Goblin Boss named Sneed. Sneed is the lumbermaster and at first he sits on his machine called Sneed's Shredder but when you break it he jumps out and fight's you on foot. Going past him and his Goblin minions you'll eventually make it to the Goblin Foundry another Goblin Boss named Gilnid is located here. He is the head smelter and his minions work all day with no breaks. Their are also remote controlled Golems they use to attack you which are very annoying. You'll eventually make it to Ironclad Cove here you can see the ship. In front of the entrance to the ship is Mr. Smite a Tauren Boss who is also a Pirate. He is the first mate of the crew. Once you get past him there is an optional Boss you can fight called Cookie he is the head cook. Once you get to the top of the ship the captain Captain Greenskin will fight you once you killed him you must kill Edwin Vancleef himself and stop his plans.

Near the entrance of Moonbrook there is a opening into the Dagger Hills which are controlled by the Defias. Behind Moonbrook and Dagger Hills is Longshore where many Murlocs live. The Westfall Lighthouse is also where the ghost of Captain Grayson is located at. Moving north from  Moonbrook you go on the Old Quarry Road what i believe it's called [i don't remember XD]. The Defias Messenger walks here. Walking through it you'll see the Alexston Farmstead an abandoned farm and the former home of the Head Architect of Stormwind Baros Alexston. Going up the road you'll see the Gold Coast Quarry with a cave located there that the Defias mine. Going more north you'll another abandoned farm the Molsen Farm. It's very close to the Jangolode Mine which the Defias took over. Right next to the mine is the last place the Furlbrow's Pumpkin Farm former home of the Furlbrow's i mentioned above.

Thank you so much for reading this blog. I hope you have a great day and good luck on you're adventures i'll see you later.
