Vanilla WoW Elywn Forest geography.

Hello everybody i hope you're having a great evening. Today i decided to do a geography of Elywn Forest since i made this blog after i finished that zone. I will also do Westfall tomorrow because i made  this blog before i did that zone too. Before we start i just wanted to say that Ignos is now a Sergeant!!! He now has 40 HK [honorable kills]. Let's begin.

Elywn Forest is a Alliance zone in the southwestern Eastern Kingdoms. Bordered by Burning Steppes to the northeast, Redridge Mountains to the west, Deadwind Pass to the southeast, Duskwood to the south and Westfall to the southwest. It's the heart of the Human Kingdom of Stormwind as it was the first place they settled after migrating from Lordaeron. The entire zone is made up of a giant forest. In the northwest is Northshire Valley where all new Human characters start at. Recruits go there to help the Alliance. Northshire Abbey a huge religious building [fake lore religion] and a place of importance for many Humans is also located there. It is full of wolves and is having a wolf infestation. In the north is the Echo Ridge Mine which the Humans have been driven out of by Kobolds. In the very north on the mountains is a river that empties from Thunder Falls a waterfall to a smaller river. If you crossed the bridge on that smaller river you will be in the Northshire Vineyards. It's a farm that has now been taken over by the Defias Brotherhood a Human gang of thieves and rebels against Stormwind [that's a story for another time]. Outside of Northshire Valley Elywn Forest is full of Wolves, Bears and Poisonous Spiders. Going south from Northshire you'll reach Goldshire a production center where many talented people help the Alliance. If you go on the road west of it you'll see Defias camps in the forest but you will be fine if you stay on the road and a Stormwind Guard patrols here and kills any Defias he see's. At the end of the road you'll reach Stormwind City the Human and Alliance capital. People all over the Alliance come open shops here selling things and trading. Some people teach or learn skills here too. The Stockades the Stormwind prison is located here and prisoners [mostly Defias members] are imprisoned here but there has been a rebellion and they have taken over the prison. The headquarters of the Church of the Holy Light is here [fake lore religion]. There is also the Deeprun Tram which connects Stormwind City to Ironforge by going underground [much better to travel from Ironforge since they have the machines that move you through it very fast while i never saw any on the Stormwind side]. S1:7 The Spy organization for Stormwind run by Rouges is located here and they help Stormwind with secret missions. Stormwind Keep where the House of Nobles and the royal family lives is also here. King Varian Wrynn of the Wrynn dynasty is the leader of the Alliance and Stormwind his throne is located here but currently he is gone on a diplomatic mission.

If you keep on going west from Goldshire you'll reach the Fargodeep mine south of the road it's also now controlled by Kobolds. To the east of it is the Maclure vineyards and to the west of it is the Stonefield Farm. These 2 families run farms that send food to Stormwind but they also have a large rivalry based off of the Hatfield and McCoy feud [fun fact i actually know a descendant of one of those families]. If you keep on going west from there you'll reach Forest's Edge a peninsula now overrun by the Riverpaw pack of Gnolls who are also part of the Defias Brotherhood. Their leader is Hogger a very infamous mob in World of Warcraft he is a elite and i recommend atleast 2 people to try to take him on although you can solo him if you have a lot of potions. The Westbrook Garrison is also here the soldiers try to stop the Gnoll situation. Going even more west from here will take you to Westfall another zone i leveled in and will explain about tomorrow.

Going east from Goldshire leads you to the Crystal Lake where the small river empties into. Many Murloc villages were built on the many islands here. Going south from Crystal Lake takes you to Jerod's Landing. It's controlled by the Defias Brotherhood and there is a dock here Defias Goblins control and use to send boats across the river with supplies to Klaven's Tower a Defias tower in Westfall. Going more east you'll reach the Tower of Azora a Mage tower run by a Human and his Gnome allies. They are spying on the Tower of Illigar in Redridge Mountains to stop them from doing anything evil.

Going more east you'll encounter the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch another farm but now it's been taken over by the Defias. If you go north from the Tower of Azora you'll reach the Jasperlode Mine which has also been taken over by Kobolds. East from there you'll see Stone Cairn Lake the shores around it have a Murloc Village but on the main island Defias control it. The Second War Monument is also there. Very south from there east of the Brackwell Pumpkin Patch is another Murloc Village. But if you cross the road across the river that the lake flows into you'll reach the Eastvale Logging Camp. It's a town where people lumber wood for the Alliance. Going more east you'll see the Ridgepoint Tower full of Stormwind Guards because they are watching who enters Redridge Mountains since the entrance to them is here.

Thank you for reading this blog. I hope you have a great day and good luck on you're adventures i'll see you later.
