Thrall Lore Part 5 [until Vanilla WoW and last part].
Hello everyone and welcome to the Blog. Today we'll finish Thrall's lore. Last we left off the Burning Legion was defeated.
The Orcs claimed much of The Barrens pushing the Razormane Quillboars and Kolkar Centaurs out of much of it. Eventually they discovered another region close to The Barrens, this region had a harsh climate and reminded them of their homeworld Draenor and they decided to make their capital there. The land was called Durotar after Thrall's father Durotan and their capital was named Orgrimmar after Orgrim Doomhammer. The Tauren controlled the southern Barrens and Mulgore. Cairne realizing the nomadic ways of the Tauren was dangerous due to exposing them to attack by Centaurs and other races, changed the tradition and built a permanent capital for them in Mulgore named Thunder Bluff. Vol'jin and the Darkspear Troll's settled in the Echo Isles.
Rexxar a Mok'Nathal [half orc and half ogre] came to Thrall and joined the Horde, he earned his place by doing many tasks and helping the people including rescuing Cairne's kidnapped son reported Kul Tiras Humans landing on the shores of Durotar. They were led by Grand Admiral Daelin Proudmoore father of Jaina Proudmoore. He hated Orcs since his son were killed by some at the end of the Second War during a naval battle. He wanted to destroy the Horde. Rexxar evacuated the Echo Isles and all the Horde leaders prepared for battle. Even Jaina Proudmoore helped them since she didn't agree with what her father was doing. She got Thrall to promise that they would try to keep casualties to a minimum and told him of a place where he could buy ships from Goblins. The Horde used their ships and battled Proudmoore eventually boarding his ship. Thrall told Proudmoore that this was a different Horde then the one he fought years ago. Proudmoore responded saying his race was guilty of genocide and could never atone for what they did and vowed to never stop fighting the Orcs eventually he was killed on the ship. Thrall left the rest of the Humans alone and went back to Orgrimmar with a navy leaving Jaina mourning.

Rexxar was made champion of the Horde and was offered a place in Orgrimmar but declined stating he was still in the Horde but his place was in the wild so he left to Desolace. The ideas of the Old Horde also remained influencing many into joining cults and becoming Warlocks. The Darkspears returned back to the Echo Isles but not long after they were betrayed by Zalazane who joined the Burning Blade [one of the cults], Vol'jin founded Sen'jin village on the shores of southern Durotar named after his father Sen'jin. The Forsaken Undead also sent ambassadors to the Horde wishing to join. Although this was disputed and many members of the Horde didn't trust them theTauren Archdruid Hamuul Runetotem convinced Thrall to let them join although many members of the Horde still don't trust them. They are led by Sylvanas Windrunner their capital is in the Eastern Kingdoms in Tirisfal Glades named Undercity. The Horde has been established at this point as a strong power through the Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. Although it is mostly stable tensions are high between them and the Alliance. A cold war develops between the 2 major forces of Azeroth.
This brings us to here. This is where we first started talking about the lore when Yobrok met Thrall. Finally we are finished. Thank you so much for reading this blog. Come back soon to learn the lore of the Night Elves and how their ancient civilization developed. And here are the parts of the Thrall lore Part 1, Part 2, Part 3 and Part 4.
