Vanilla WoW Durotar geography. Bye Durotar and hello Barrens.
Yobrok is now level 10. He left Durtoar and went to The Barrens. He's currently at The Crossroads now.
He completed his class quest too so he can tame pets now. He actually tamed a Cursed Scorpid the second best pet in Durotar or atleast what i found out and my personal opinion in my research. I tried to find the Death Flayer another Scorpid which i think is the best pet in Durtoar but it's rare so i couldn't find it. Yobrok was broke and while making his way to the Crossroads it was hard for him to fight the mobs since he was low level due to just starting The Barrens. Soon it's happiness was very low and he didn't have any more meat to feed it. He had to make the tough choice to abandon it at the end even if he didn't it would run away soon anyways. I'm probably going to have to grind some boar since they drop the chunks of meat you're characters can't eat but the pets can. I'll wait a few levels though even if it puts me at a disadvantage. You may have seen earlier what i did with Ignos leaving Redridge if you didn't click here. I'm gonna do the same thing with Durotar tonight.
Durotar is a Horde Zone and the homeland of the Trolls and Orcs of the Horde well atleast their new homeland. It's in Northeast Kalimdor. Bordered by Azshara to the north and The Barrens to the west. In the southwest is the Valley of Trials which has Boars and Scorpids everywhere new Orc and Troll characters start here. It's a training area for new Orc and Troll warriors of the Horde. Some people also like to come here and hunt. In the south of it is the Den where all the people working here are stationed. In the north is the Burning Blade Coven. The Burning Blade is a evil terrorist organization that like's to use demonic powers they have close ties with the Shadow Council rumors say the Shadow Council still secretly functions. Only 1 Burning Blade member is here but they summoned a bunch of demons. East of the Valley of Trials is Sen'jin Village a troll village. Outside of it and in pretty much all of Durotar there are Scorpids everywhere. It's technically the troll capital actually but it's nothing close at all to a capital city so some might say the Orc capital is also the Troll capital. South of Sen'jin village is the Echo Isles a series of islands the trolls of Sen'jin hunt the tiger there for their skin to make huts and clothes. They also tame the raptors there to ride. Makrura's and Crawlers live there too A friend of the leader of the Troll's Vul'jin named Zalazane betrayed the Darkspear Trolls him and his followers joined the Burning Blade and forced the Darkspear out of the islands putting some of them under spells making them loyal to them. Southwest of Sen'jin Village is the Kolkar Crag a area where a tribe of Centaurs live. When the Horde came to Kalimdor they had to clear out the hostile natives the Centaurs are one of those people and they hate the Horde very much. Heading more north in the east is Tiragarde Keep a fortress the Horde is fighting with the Humans of Kul Tiras over. I made a guide and explained more about it here. Off the coast of Tiragarde Keep is Scuttle Coast a area where tons of ships are wrecked from a battle years ago. Going up the road a little bit you reach Razor Hill a Orcish town. It has a strong military presence there to deal with the issues in Durotar and it's residents work together to provide the Horde with food and supplies. West of it is the Razormane Grounds where a tribe of Quillboar's called Razormane natives of Kalimdor live. There is a bridge there that connects to The Barrens which is split from Durotar by the Southfury River based off of the Nile river lots of Crocolisk's live there. In Northwest Durotar is Thunder Ridge inhabited by cool giant mobs called Thunder Lizard's the Burning Blade also has a camp here. In Northeast Durotar is Drygulch Ravine it's inhabited by Harpies who raid any caravan and attack and steal thing from people they see. In the very North of Durotar are the Rocktusk and Jaggedswine Farm's the farmers work very hard to make food for the Horde. In Northeast Durotar is Skull Rock a cave full of Burning Blade members. Finally the last place in the most Northern part of Durotar is the Orc and also the Horde capital Orgrimmar. People all over the Horde settle here opening shops and selling things to make a living. Some also come here to train students or get trained and learn. Warchief Thrall lives here and oversees the Horde from his throne. Read my post about him here.
